Western Oakland Meals on WheelsMeals on Wheels is a non-profit Senior Nutrition Program for home-bound seniors over 60 years old who are unable to plan, shop or prepare meals for themselves. For more -information call 810-632-2155 or visit the link below.
Laker Gold Card ProgramLaker Senior Gold Cards are available for West Bloomfield School District senior residents. Gold Cards allow senior citizens (62+) to attend school district events such as plays, athletic games and musical performances FREE OF CHARGE.
Laker Senior Gold Cards are available at district schools and at the Administrative and Community Services Building. Creative Writing GroupWest Bloomfield Parks offers a weekly meeting (currently meeting virtually and will be back to in person as guidelines allow) for local writers. The group is for rookies to professionals and any type of writing is welcome including memoirs, poetry and fiction. Facilitated by our volunteer, Judy Imbrunone.

Stretch & ToneStretch and Tone class is a fun and enjoyable hour of low impact exercise. This program uses a comprehensive exercise routine which encourages the use of light hand weights to maintain strength and fitness through stretching and flexibility training. Workouts help to release stress, improve posture and strengthen muscles to help prevent injury. Classes take place at Connect on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-10 am. Pre-registration is suggested.
