Sustainability and Energy Efficiency:
The 2010 improvement project had sustainability and energy efficiency at the forefront. Landscapes are designed with native species, rain gardens and bioswales. The buildings feature geo-thermal heating and cooling and solar hot water heating for the seasonal restrooms.
