New parking lot for the West Bloomfield Trail

In partnership with Edgewood Residential Housing developers and the West Bloomfield Township Development Services, WB Parks was able to secure a 12-space asphalt parking lot and a concrete safety path that connects the parking lot to the West Bloomfield Trail. The parking lot is located off Walnut Lake Rd, giving access to the Trail where it transitions from the Airline Trail to the West Bloomfield Trail. The addition of this parking lot allows us to now offer parking at the west end, center and east end of the Trail.

West Bloomfield Dog Park

​The Dog Park offers nearly 4 acres of fenced-in area and is divided into 3 sections – one for all dogs, one for small dogs up to 25 lbs and one for people with physical limitations (ADA Accessible).
