Growing a passion for fitness and health at a young age, Alicia started challenging herself in all the classes she had and activities she did. In high school, she took up cross country. In college, she began teaching kickboxing and boot-camp classes. After Alicia graduated, she began teaching at two gyms, ran marathons and worked with the American Heart Association. Now, she is a fitness instructor, and teaches both on her own and with West Bloomfield Parks, who she has been with since November 2018. She has completed over 200 hours of yoga training and became Barre Intensity certified in 2018. When she isn’t practicing yoga, Alicia enjoys pursuing her passion for marketing and fundraising, as well as spending time with her two boys and two dogs.
