Participants are encouraged to visit programming hosted by the West Bloomfield Public Library next door at 4600 Walnut Lake Rd. 

The Greater West Bloomfield Historical Society will share insight into West Bloomfield Township’s earliest Black residents, some of whom risked their own freedom to fight for an end to slavery during the Civil War. 

The West Bloomfield Diversity Task Force is a partnership between WB Parks, the WB Public Library, WB Township and community volunteers.
