Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 8 am at Marshbank Park or the West Bloomfield Trail, all ages welcome What better way to celebrate National Trails Day than being outdoors on a WB Parks’ trail? This year’s event is a self-guided walk with 2 location options; Marshbank Park and The WB Trail. There will be nature education signs along the way and a naturalist on each trail to answer all of your nature questions or discuss what you discovered along the way. Must check in between 8am-8:30am for a shirt. Shirts are free and first come, first served, while supplies last. Pre-registration no longer required.
For the WB Trail walk - Meet and park at Walnut Creek Middle School for a walk along our scenic and historic rail-to-trail. The Greater West Bloomfield Historical Society will open the Orchard Lake Museum 9am-12p located along the Trail to explore. No transportation provided, the distance you choose to walk one way, you must walk back the same distance. It is nearly 7 miles, one way, to walk the full WB Trail.
