Commissioner Amy Mindell worked as a freelance journalist and was office manager for a family business for more than 25 years. She recently ran for the West Bloomfield Parks Recreation Commission to serve the community and help promote the incredible WB Parks’ mission. In her free time, you will find Amy walking the WB trails, picking up a library book or spending time with family (sometimes all 3 at the same time).

My favorite things about nature are the reprieve from screens, experiencing all four seasons and the splendor of Michigan’s wild spaces.
