Visit the Nature Room where children and families can immerse themselves in the wonders of nature in the backyard of West Bloomfield. Open on Tuesdays, this self-led program offers a variety of activities designed to inspire curiosity and foster a love for the natural world!

September 10-December 17 from 8 am-4:30 pm

• Observe live reptiles and amphibians native to Michigan.
• Engage in a variety of crafts and hands-on activities.
• Make discoveries in the natural features of our outdoor natural play area.

This self-guided experience allows families to explore at their own pace, making it perfect for children of all ages. Join us on our designated days and unleash your inner explorer!

In addition to Tuesdays, Discovery Days will be held on September 21 (3:30-5:30 pm), October 19 (9 am-1:30pm), November 3 (8-11 am) and November 14 (8 am-6:30 pm).
