S'mores & Stroll Fire Pit Nature Appointments - NEW!
Gather around a campfire to enjoy s’mores (s’mores supplies included) with your social circle. Share stories, sing songs, and enjoy each other’s company! Follow up with a Naturalist-guided night hike on the Civic Center Trails where we will learn all about nocturnal animals and their adaptations! The campfire and hike will last 45 minutes each for a program lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes. This is a private program for up to 25 people.

Virtual Nature Appointments (School groups)
We can bring nature to your classroom no matter where you may be located! There are a variety of topics to choose from and we can customize the topic to fit your student’s needs. Programs meet Michigan Science Standards. Depending on the topic, your nature appointments may include a live animal or two. Programs run for 30 minutes and include a 25 minute presentation and 5 minutes for questions and class interactions.

Zoom with a Naturalist (Friend/family/community groups)
Gather families, friends, or organizations together for a unique and personal nature experience. Invite a naturalist for a virtual Zoom nature appointment. Choose from a variety of topics that are interactive, engaging, and may even include a live animal! Programs run for 30 minutes. We provide a simple supply list and guide you through a craft/hands on activity too.

Naturalist-guided services are available year-round for your group. We welcome families, school and youth groups, scouts, and other community organizations. We can bring nature to you or you may visit the Nature Room and Outdoor Play Area! There are a variety of topics to choose from and we can customize to fit your group’s needs.
