Celebrate Earth Day the best way: Outside enjoying nature! Come explore the Outdoor Natural Play Area and participate in fun, free activities!
Celebrate Mother Earth with many activities which, include:
- Recycled craft
- Live animal interactions
- Free tree seedling to the first 50 families upon event entry
- Guided nature hike at 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm (must pre-register in separate course, $5/person,
proceeds benefit the Nature Room)
- Conservation vendor activities and displays
This year’s vendors include:
- Huron River Watershed Council
- Oakland County Water Resource Commission Dirt Doctors
- Bees in the D
- Girl Scout Troop #77713
- North Oakland Wild Ones
- Detroit Zoological Society
- Monarch Watch
- Oakland County Parks Nature Education
This is a FREE event, but pre-registration is required for each person attending. This program will be both indoors and outdoors so please dress for whatever weather Mother Nature provides this day.
